Nice Salad Dressing

It’s so simple to do and makes all the difference.

  • 1 heaped teaspoon of Maille Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon of Kikoman soya sauce
  • ½ dessert spoon of lemon juice
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of fresh chopped parsley
  • Olive oil
  • Sunflower oil

So Here's What To Do

  1. Place all of the ingredients except the oils into a jar with a lid (or small jug) and mix or shake until all of the ingredients amalgamate. Add the chopped parsley.
  2. Next pour in double the amount of oil to the dressing base, so the ratio should be 2:1 in favour of the oil. I like to split my oil into 2 parts – 1 part olive oil and 1 part sunflower oil.

You should not need salt in this recipe.

Always stir or shake the nice dressing before pouring, sprinkling, dousing, spooning or whatever your fancy.

For a richer nuttier flavour, you can use 1 part walnut oil, which is completely delicious. Oil experimentation is all ‘part’ of it!
